Harvard Business Publishing is a not-for-profit, independent corporation that is an affiliate of Harvard Business School. They work together to bring smart thinking and courageous leadership to the world’s toughest management challenges, providing a robust catalog of learning materials, including cases, simulations, articles, videos, and online courses. ​

The Challenge

Harvard Business Publishing needed to modernize its legacy systems and staff workflows to maintain its global leadership position. This modernization effort presented an initial, massive technical challenge centered on the secure and compliant migration of over 70TB of critical institutional data from Box to the Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive environment.

The Solution

In addition to data migration, we also developed custom code against the Box API to support their unique business requirements and support of their rollback plans.​ More recently we have implemented governance controls around the Copilot for Studio and Power Platform ecosystem, including Purview labels, DLP policies, DSPM enablement, and more, to support an internal Hackathon around productivity ideation and solutioning.

The Results

Staff training in these productivity tools and Responsible AI principles now empower Harvard Business Publishing to drive internal innovation, ensuring they can focus their energies on developing world-class learning materials and advancing global leadership.
