The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is the birthplace of public transit in America and one of the largest public transit systems in the country. Serving over 1 million daily riders across nearly 200 cities and towns, their administrative operations are essential to keeping the region moving.
Bringing workers back to the office required a new operational model. The MBTA needed a system that was easy for staff to use from mobile devices, allowed for safe distancing through desk reservations, and provided clear communication and on-site signage. This solution also had to integrate seamlessly with their existing Microsoft 365 stack.
